Welcome to Hickory Ridge Tree Service! I’m Beau Sanders, an ISA Certified Arborist, currently serving in the NC Army National Guard, Property and Land Manager for the JES Avanti Foundation, and proud owner of Hickory Ridge Tree Service. I live in Roxboro, NC with my wife and two dogs, but I originally hail from Southern Maryland. My passion for tree care began while working with Maryland State Parks and grew during my time assisting the state and national forest service with combating invasive plants and insects, fighting wild land fires at home as well as throughout the country, and managing natural Resource Parks.

Before moving to North Carolina, I received extensive training and certifications in tree care through the park and forest service ,courses through Arbor-masters training program, and continued education through UNCs, UMD, and various other extension agencies. My commitment to ongoing education led me to become a certified arborist, and I’ve since expanded my expertise into plant health care.

I’m passionate about helping trees thrive and ensuring they contribute to us sentimentally and aesthetically, as well as providing significant physical and mental health benefits.
